Are you licensed in Ontario?

I will be completing my official licensing requirements in September 2026 and will be fully licensed to perform legal marriages in Ontario beginning January 2027.

My 2027 calendar is now open, and I'm currently offering special pre-launch pricing for couples who reserve their date before my official launch.

Question 2

Do you travel?

Accepted Answer

I'm happy to travel to celebrate your love story! Travel within 50 km of Lakefield, Ontario is included in my pricing, with a travel fee added for locations outside this area.

Question 3

Can we write our own vows?

Accepted Answer

Of course! Your vows should feel like you, and you have complete freedom to choose what feels right. I can provide guidance and tips to help you write your own, or if you prefer a little less pressure, I have pre-written options available as well.

Question 4

Do you attend the rehearsals?

Accepted Answer

This is completely up to you! I recommend having me attend the final run-through (about 15-20 minutes) to help everyone feel prepared and confident. If you choose to rehearse without me, I'll provide all the guidance and recommendations needed to ensure a smooth ceremony on your wedding day.

What happens if an emergency comes up and you can't make it?

While this is very unlikely, I believe in being prepared for every possibility. In the event of an emergency that prevents me from being there, I have trusted, experienced professional colleagues who I can call upon to step in and ensure your ceremony is handled with the same care and professionalism.

Do you perform non-religious and inclusive ceremonies?

Absolutely. I believe every love story deserves to be celebrated, no matter what it looks like. There is no one-size-fits-all version of love or marriage, and your ceremony should reflect who you are as a couple. I would be honored to stand with you and help create a meaningful ceremony as you take this next step together.

Question 7

What do I need to secure my date?

To officially reserve your wedding date, I’ll need a signed contract and a $150 non-refundable deposit. Once both are received, your date is locked in and we can start planning a ceremony that’s uniquely yours!
